J. A. RICE works hard to make his stories original, intelligent, entertaining and hopefully never boring. He attended California State University, Long Beach, where he majored in film and journalism. At CSULB he was an assistant editor for The Long Beach Daily 49er and later worked at The Long Beach Press Telegram. He has worked for various publications and websites and currently writes full time. He cites some influences as: Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, John Fante, Charles Bukowski, Michael Crichton, Chuck Palahniuk, William S. Burroughs, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Thomas Wolfe, Charles Dickens and Hemingway to name a few…

Just finished stage 30 enjoyed it very much I have workd background extra fo the past 5 years here in Atlanta., all though I retired from a real job after 32 years I have found a true avocation that has lead me to weird and wonderfull experiences. I understand the passion you felt being a partner in the creation of a film. I will be recommending you’re book to my friends and when the story is made into a movie keep me in mind.
